THE HARVEST PROSPECTS. TWO MILLION TONS AVAILABLE FOR EXPORT. United Pkehb Association. (Received 9.5 a.m.) Delhi, April 14. The Government special forecast of the total harvest from April to Way is 10,250,000 tons, against 8,250,000 tons last year. The Home authorities consider this under-estimated, and it is hoped that 2,000,000 tons will be available for export under Government control. Where new crops are coming on the market, the prices have a distinct tendency to fall. EXCELLENT RECRUITING REPORTS. Delhi, April 14. The Territorials training in India have attained a state of high efficiency in a remarkably short period, their health being excellent. Recruiting for native regiments is excellent, the recent successes in Europe having stimulated military enthusiasm. Largo numbers of gentlemen are joining the army as reserve officers.
