Zeppelin's secretary, when interviewed, said: "Germany possesses thirty-six dirigibles and has lost nine during the war, far exceeding anticipations, but types were being constructed with long range guns and machine guns, fifteen of which would he delivered in July, also armoured dirigibles carrying two tons of explosives and capable of attaining a high altitude. Ten dirigibles would attack London about August, regardless of losses. Germany has discovered a new process of causing atmospheric perturbations to bring down aeroplanes*
