The secretary or fcho Belgian Relief Fund (Mr P. Skoglund) acknowledges the receipt of £lO 10s, being part proceeds from the Church of Kiigland ladies' sale of work held on Saturday, Queen Street wharf, Auckland, ....-w evening, collided heavily with a concrete pier, her stem being badly bent übout six feet above the water line, and the lip of one of the bow plates on the port side torn out of its rivets. The Press Association states that the Riverina struck her bow on the protecting piles, and was splintered and smashed thirty I'eet on each side of the bow. Eventually the ship hit the solid ferro concrete portion of the whari, and the decking was cracked for a length of about 18 inches. The damage will not prevent the departure of the ship for Sydney at noon to-day. Zealandia Ranges, being fitted with the very latest improvements, are necessarily the best on the market for the money. The superior open fire which is fitted to this range, makes it the family's friend.—McMillan and Fredric, Broadway. x , For Chronic Chest Complaints, Woods' Great Peppermint Cure, Is 6d, 2s 6d. x
