KAISER AND IRELAND. IRISH PRISONERS DID NOT DESIRE DIFFERENTIATION IN TREATMENT. Times and Sydney Sun Service. (Received 8 a.m.) London, April 12. The White Paper describing the treatment of British prisoners in Germany says the Irish prisoners in one camp wcvv assembled and informed that the Kaiser was aware of the down-trodden state of Ireland, and he wished the Irishmen to be placed in a separate camp. The Irishmen replied that they wanted no different treatment from their compatriots.
WITHDRAWALS OF BONDED STORES.

German propagandists in America are endeavouring to arrange a worldwide labour conference with a view to presenting an ultimatum to the belligerents, compelling them to end the war or face a, world strike. MISCELLANEOUS. London, April 12. The Morning Post declares that England will be disgraced for ever unless she avenges the deliberate German ferocity towards British prisoners.
The J)ail,v Express says the Government has decided to purchase all the breweries and licensed houses in the United Kinglom, and to establish a State monopoly of beer. Only light varieties will he brewed. A committee is working out the details. The purchase price is estimated at over two hundred millions, payable in 4 per cent, license bonds. General Joffre has issued a manifesto stating that it is the duty of all patriots to fight alcoholism in all its forms. He has forbidden the sale of intoxicants to the allied armies, and the only alcohol allowed being incluled in the rations. Lieutenant Gilbert Ferrier, of the Royal Fusiliers, formerly of New Zealand, was killed in action. Paris, April 12. Le Matin reports that the French occupy a front of 5-13 miles, the British 31, the Belgians 17, the Russians 956, the Servians and Montenegrins 21 miles.
