BEATING THE CUSTOMS SYSTEMATIC • SMUGGLING OF CONTRABAND. United Piiess Association. (Received 8.50 a.m.) Paris, April 12. A Bucharest telegram states that German and Austrian diplomatic couriers wore found to be smuggling spare gun parts and ammunition into Turkey, availing themselves of the regulations exempting baggage from Customs examination. The Government is taking severe measures to stop the practice. TURKS LEAVE THEIR HOMES. Sofia, April 12. Fearing a Bulgarian attack, prominent Turks and Creek merchants at Kirk Kilisse are leaving their homes and going to Asia Minor and Greece. There is a similar movement elsewhere in Thrace. FEAR AN UPRISING. Constantinople, April 12. Fearing an uprising of the Old Turks, Enver Bey has removed Abdul Hamid to Smyrna.
THE INFLUENCE OF THE YOUNG TURKS PARTY. Sofia, April 12. Von der Goltz is returning to Constantinople.
