The season commenced with a credit balance of £1 3s 2d, and the principal items of revenue were; — Member's’ subscriptions and donations £2l lbs, levies collected from members for travelling expenses and entertainment of sub-Union delegates and visiting, teams £9 15s Gd; net from gates £2 2s, The chief items of expenditure were :—Donations to Stratford Patriotic. Fund £7 gian Relief Fund £4 4s, sub-Union funds £1 Is, annual subscription to sub-Union £1 Is, Toko Domain Board £2 2s, Toko Association Hall Society, use of room for meetings, £1 Os Gd. footballs £1 15s 3d, travelling and entertainment expenses £l2 Is od, lion, sec. expenses ils 3d, referees 8s 7d. The report showed that the number of paid-up members was 82. Masters Shield matches played, six—won. three, lost two, drawn one. Points ■ scored, thirty four, against nineteen. Mr J. B. Hine, M.P., patron of the Club* generously donated two gold medals* which were Avon by Alex. Ferguson (best forward), and Alt’, Cheer (best back). Mr A. R. Reed generously donated a silver medal to the most improved player ; this was awarded to J. Caskey. The following members had offered and were now assisting to defend the Empire’s honor and prestige in Egypt: Messrs Geo. Cleary, Manly, Martel, 0. Menli, Erie Smith, John Goldup, Em Heale, H. Kilpatrick, and T. Foley. Another member, Mr Frank Martel, had passed the medical examination and will leave for file Trentham camp when required. Resolutions of sympathy were passed, members standing, to the relatives of the late Mr Will Jonas and the late Air W. T. Pearce, both old Rugby players. , Votes of thanks were passed and appreciation expressed to the retiring officers and committees, and who were all re-elected as under: Patron, Mr J. B. Hine, AI.P. President, Mr A. A. Piper. Vice-Presidents, Messrs C. Bayly, W. H, Were, Evan Jones, Geo. Morrison, and M. Gernhoefer. Delegate** to sub-Union, Messrs Geo. Al.ta.Ti,son and J. Gillick. Auditor, Air Geo. AWrison. Captain, Air Cliff Alather. Vice-Captain, Mr Alt', Cheer. Management Committee, Afessrs Cliff Alather, J. Kilpatrick, Alex. Ferguson, G. E. Bocock, and E. H. Bingham. Selection Committee, Captain, vice-Captafti, J. Kilpatrick, Geo. and G, E. Bocock. Hon. secretary and treasurer, R. D. Alilne. The season was opened on Saturday last with a practice game, there being p good muster of players.
