RIFLE SHOOTING. Per Press Association. Christchurch, April 7. The South Island rifle shooting championships concluded yesterday. In the final match for the belt (ten shots at seven hundred yards), D. Roots, of Patea, won with 46, his aggregate being 328. R. J. Smith, Opaki; Sergeant Ching, J. C. Carter, Petone; and R. Piper, Christchurch, scored 319 each.
