President's Handicap, of 350sovs', five furlongs.—Centre 1, Co Id fire 2, Colonel Soult 3. Scratched: Belasco, Lady Middleton, Tact, Ihapuna, and Chime. Goldfire made the running well into the straight, where, the field closed up at the lawn rails. Centre came through and won by half a length. Time lmin 3 4-osec. Great Northern Champagne Stakes of lOOOsovs, six furlongs.—Arran 1, Desert Gold 2, Housewife 3. Scratched : Caber Feagh and Lightning. Scratched: Miraculous, Gold Problem, Probation, Red Ribbon. Won by a length and a-half. Time 49secs.
