The Municipal Band will play a varied programme in the Victoria Park on Sunday. Applications for shares in the Farmers’ Co-operative Freezing Company are coming in very freely, and already applications have been lodged for over two thousand shares representing £10,001). When it is remembered that this only represents the requests from a few centres only that the bulk of the district has hot yet been touched, it is reasonable to anticipate that there will he no difficulty in fully subscribing the capital required. As before mentioned, settlers may obtain any information regarding the Company on application to Mr F. P. TTiiiacke, at Messrs Webster, Dobson and Co’s, temporary office, Regan Street.
