LONDON WOOL SALES. United Press Association. (Received 12.30 p.m.) London, March 31. The amount,j,of >vool sold at Home was 109,000 hales—for the Continent , 12,000 bales, United States 5000 bales. The ( number held was 18,000 bales. Compared with the last closing figures, best greasy anerinos was. unchanged; average and faulty declined per cent; secured id to Id. All crossbreds met with an increasingly keen demand ; fine advanced five per cent, medium coarse ten per cent., scoured slipes five per cent. Lambs merino was unchanged; crossbreds advanced ten per cent. “Era” 18d to ,l'7 ; ' ( d. “Tekapu” 18d to 17id.
