The pedigree cattle sales in connection with the show realised satisfactory values. In the Shorthorn bulls, Dun-
das Duke, of Derrimatt, which h^d
taken first prize, brought 460 guineas. On behalf of R. McLean, Hawkeshury, t’.w) sold at 210 and 250 guineas, and seven others ranged at 160 to 63 guineas. On behalf of Messrs
William Nixon, of Canterbury, Lovelock, of Palmerston North and Wright, of Wintlemere, prices ranged from 100 Ho 25 guineas.
