LAMASON’S REPORT. Last Saturday our usual sale of poultry, vegetables, furniture, fruit, etc., was held. With the exception of old hens in the moult, all lines met with fairly spirited competition, and were all cleared at fairly good prices. I quote as follows: —Hens (old) 9d to Is, others Is to Is Gd, cockerels 9d to Is '6d, pullets 3s to 3s' 6d, geese 3s 6d to 4s, turkey hens ss, gobbler 12s, cabbage Is to Is 6d per dozen, cauliflower Is Gd to 2s, onions Id to lid .potatoes 7s cwt., apples 2s to 6» Gd, peach 3,s to 4s, tomatoes Is Gd to ss, pears 2s to 3s Gd, all according to quality and size of case.

The prices of ladies’ and children’s up-to-date sample coats now offering at Robinson’s are advertised. * Stratford swimmers are interesting themselves in the novelty carnival in the New Plymouth Municipal Baths bn Easter Monday. Splendid exhibitions by well-known champions commence at 2.45 p.m. The promoters of the carnival are making a speciality of a great menagerie procession in the morning. Lamason’s sale is advertised for Saturday, when he will offer various lines of furniture, fruit, jewellery, hams, bacon, etc. Notice is given hy the District Land Registrar respecting the lease of Mr Pivac, which was surrendered to the Borough. Two furnished rooms with conveniences wanted.
