HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE.
A final programme was submitted to patrons last .evening, in which the loading film icompanies were feature':.
Charley Chaplin had the audience in a very humorous' mood 1 im Keystone”#, “The Now Janitor.” Two very fine star dramas were screened. “1 ho .Devil’s Dansant” is a story of the gambling evil, carried on in some of the 'big.,society’s in the cities, and includes some good dancing of the tango and Turkey trot. “The Guiding Hand” is a. pathetic story of a wayward sum, ami how Jhe good influence of Mignon, a blind girl, saves him. The ‘‘Topical War Budget,” as usual, reproduces .some special scones of (the war in Europe. ■ Two comedies, “Widow and her Twins,” and “Investment,” are also included. To-morrow night the German fleet hiding in the Kiel will be shown.
PROFES&OR CLEMENT WRACCE. *1 -• None should miss hearing the wellknown and world-rrenowned scientist, Professor Clenieut Wragge, at the Foresters’ Hall, at 8 o’clock on Thursday evening, when he will lecture on the Mighty Universe, Coming Seasons, and Radium. The Professor will illustrate his.lecture with a magnificent collection of slides, the finest in existence. They are beyond-description, and are alone worth seeing; they are the-most recent and lovely views and photographs the' observatories have turned out. Ibo specimens of radium used in the experiments are truly exquisite to those who have not seen radium. The Pro-; feasor will dtlso give his famous forecasts of seasons from the present time right up to 1930, .and he will fully explain the method by which he arrives at his famous conclusion. This is the Professor’s final appearance in Stratford, so no one should miss hearing him.
