“Snowy” Raker, George Redmond, (news editor of The Sn ) and trvo others, were motoring in Baker’s car at Manly when the tyre burst, flinging out the occupants. Redmond was killed and Baker injured and taken to the hospital. , The others were not seriously hurt.
