Cheese.—The market remains firm on Government buying, but ,the general demapd ,is quiet . Canadian firm. White and colored 94s to 96s per cwt; New Zealand quiet, white and colored 93s to 945; Australian quiet at 89s to 92a; United States fair demand, 88s to 945.

Hemp.—The market is firm arid prijcontinue to advance. The market is active for future delivery. NewZealand, good fair grade £34 10s per ton, fair £32 10s, fair-current Manila £4O; forward shipment New Zealand good fair £35, fair £33; fair—current Manila, £4O 10s. The output front Mani)a for the week was 24,000 bales. The wheat market is inactive, though holders are more willing.to-sell.
