HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. An e.idiess variety of star subjects will bo shown this evening, including a big patriotic picture, "Our First Line of Defence." Tin's fine film shows the every day doings of Tommy Atkins at the front. Tho star drama is "The Land of Shadows," the story of a scientist who believes that man has more than one life oil earth. The play is interesting and introduces something new in the way of dramas. "Pathe's War Gazette" shows 10,000 Belgian soldiers in Holland," Belgian artillery, camp scenes of Indian troops, and trench warfare. A very fine Vitagraph drama, "The Kiss," is a story of shop girl life in New York. An extraordinary life series is "Grittalde Aquarium," Pathe color study. The comedy section includes "Bill Saves tho Day," and "A Substitute for Pants." The Theatre is heated of rthe comfort of patrons.
