STORIES OF GERMAN ATROCITIES CONFIRMED. fßt EutOTBIO I'BI.KGBAPD—COFtKIGHTj United Press Association. (Received 1.25 p.m.) Sydney, March 25. The French Consul-General, addressing a meeting, said some people did not believe the stories of the German atrocities, but be could assure them they were true, as he had received official continuation from his Government. There had been no exaggeration; indeed, stories erred, they were lessening rather than exaggerating the atrocities. The world had never before seen such atrocities.
