SAILOR’S SUDDEN END. Pee Press Association. Auckland, March 23. John.. Haigh, a deck hand on the small steamer Kaipatiki, fell between the vessel and the Riverhead wharf while releasing a rope and was drowned. Deceased was married and was fifty years of age. He leaves a wife and. grown-up family.
