ENCOURAGING PROSPECTS IN GALICIA. Times and Sydney Sun Seevice. (Received 8.0 a.rn.) London, March 18. Petrograd considers that the Allies’ victories on the western front are likely to compel the removal of the Germans from the Masurian Lakes campaign. A decision is imminent at Przemysl. It. will hearten the Russians, who have been already stimulated at the prospect of complete victory by the army in the Caucauses. They are largely expecting to join hands with the Allies under the walls of Constantinople. Petrograd, March 18. Official.—The Russian offensive on both flanks of the Orjiec continues to develop, despite stubborn resistance. The numbers of prisoners are increasing.
