The death of Rev. Robert Mac Nicol, ex-Moderator of the New Zealand Presbyterian General Assembly, is announced from Sydney. Rev, R. Nevill, who has been appointed vicar of St. Paul’s Cathedral, Dunedin, arrived at Auckland from London by the Rotorua yesterday. The death of Mr Walter Crane, decorative painter and writer, and president of the Arts and Crafts Society for several years, is reported from London, Captain Alec. Taylor, veterinary surgeon at Lincoln College, Canterbury, returned from Egypt by the Rotorua yesterday. He was veterinary officer on the troopship Athenic. The Rev. Ivo E. Bertram, of the Devouport Presbyterian Church, has f received a call from the congregation of Prahan Church, Melbourne, and the Auckland Presbytery has agreed to the call. The body of the late Bishop Grimes will be brought from Sydney by . the Manuka, arriving at Wellington next Tuesday, it is understood that the interment in Christchurch has been fixed for the 2oth inst.
