M. Venizelos has published a statement appealing to the new Government to abandon its neutrality. He urges that the present moment offers Greece the chance to quadruple itself. If the Ministry embraces the opportunity M. Venizelos guarantees the support of a majority in Parliament. BULGARIA'S FRIENDSHIP. * London, March 16. Bucharest states that several of the associates of M. Vonovelos have arrived at Sofia, suggesting a reconstrustion of the Balkans League. The Bulgarians cordially received the Greeks. RESERVISTS IN AUSTRALIA 70 REGISTER. (Received 10.55 a.m.) Melbourne, Match 17. The Greek Consul has notified all Greeks who are reservists to register before the 29th insfc. As showing the partiality of the Grecian Royal Family to the cause of the House of Hohenzollern, it may be stated that King Constantine (who succeeded his father King George on the latter’s assassination) married in 1889 Princess Sophia of Prussia, sister of the Kaiser. Premier Venizelos, who resigned the position the other day with his party, is a supporter of the Triple Entente, and the late King George also had kindly leanings to the Entente.
