THE BELGIAN APPEAL

NOTHING FROM AUSTRALIA SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS NECESSARY IN REMITTINC MONEY. —, Times and Stdney Sun Service. (Received 8 n.m.) London, March 13. It is extremely desirable that the authorities in remitting sums of money in response to the Belgian Commissioner's appeal, should instruct their agents in London that the money must be handed to the Commission, otherwise it will be given to a totally different body called the Belgian Relief Committee, which deals with the Belgian refugees in England, who are already well provided for. The Chairman of the Commission states that he has not received a single dime from Australia in response to the appeal, though the money is pressingly wanted.
