FIRM NOTE TO CHINA. United Pbess Association. New York, March 10. A message from Pekin states that the Japanese Ambassador handed the Chinese Foreign Minister a Note interpreted to imply that unless the Japanese demands are accepted by the 12th, force will be employed. Although this is not accepted as an ultimatum, Yuan-Sbih-Kai conferred with Cabinet and decided to expedite the settlement of the demands to which China could agree.
