AIR RAIDS IN BELGIUM.
QUESTIONS IN THE HOUSE OF COMMONS. [TTnitkd Frkß* Apsooiation.] (Received 8.25 a.in.) London, March 5. In the House of Commons the Premier (Mr Asquith), being interrogated regarding the British air raids in Belgium, said in reply that the attacks were directed only against points of military significance, and every precaution was taken to avoid damage unnecessary to the object in view.
Mr Philip Snowden: “Has the Government any information concerning the recent British air-raids in Belgium where bombs were thrown indiscriminately and five civilians were killed ?” .Mr Asquith: “No; our information is not to that effect.”
RUSSIAN AVIATOR’S INGENUITY.
DELIVERY OF AUSTRIAN PRISONER IN RUSSIAN LINES.

The Russian aviator who captured the survivor of an Austrian patiol party, having no other way of keeping the prisoner, tied him to the tail of the frame of the aeroplane. He jettisoned his stock of bombs and started back to the Russian line, flying over the Austrians amidst a storm of bullets. The airman noticed that the prisoner had loosened one hand and was trying to cut the ropes with a knife, but a blow on the head stunned him, and the airman delivered the prisoner safely.
ZEPPELIN ALTITUDE RECORD. United Press Association. Rome, March 5. An Italian airship lias beaten the world’s height record of 3080 metres, made .by a Zeppelin.
CAPTURE OF GERMAN AERO-
PLANE.
Paris, March 5
A German aeroplane was brought down at Fort de Vaux, near Verdun, and the two aviators were captured.
THE BOMBING OF THE ROTTWEIL POWDER FACTORY. United Press Association. (Received 11.35 a.m.) Paris, March 5. Official; Rottweil powder factory, near Danausehinger, which was announced yesterday as having been bombed, was one of the most important in Germany. The aviator dropped four bombs. The first fired the acid reservoirs and the others the powdei works.
