YIELD OF PRINCIPAL CROPS. Per Press (Association. Wellington, March -I. The estimated average yields per acre of field crops for the season 191415, as shown by a table published in the Gazette to-night, are as follow: Wheat, 25.96 bushels; oats, 35.45; barley, 27.78; maize, 45.98; peas, 25.98 ; rye grass, 419.03 pounds ; cocksloot, 141.54; ehowings fescue, 494.12; red clover, 151.82; white clover, 147. 31 ; potatoes, 6.45 tons; turnips, 15.13; mangolds, 2(5.01. According to returns furnished to the Registrar-General by post, the total estimated yields of the principal crops will he: Wheat, 4,921,159 bushels; oats, 10,194,037; barley, '509,680 ; rye grass, 21,205.103 pounds; cocksfoot, 2,481,169; potatoes. 141,171 tons; turnips, 7,778.400; mangolds. 257,878. The following table shows the value of the principal exports of New Zealand produce for the week ended Tuesday last:—Butter £88,740; cheese, £197,338; frozen meats, £278,553; gold, £19,200 ; grain and pulse, £8154 ; hides and skins, £39,514; kauri gum, £3297; pbormium, £1780; tallow, £28,470; timber, £8S18; wool, £709,332 total, £1,615,490.
