The Town Hull presented a very busy.'appearanco , this morning, when many workers were, engaged in preparing for the Horticultural Society's Show, held, this afternoon and evening, i The unanimous opinion is that the show will'be the best 'ever-held by the Society. The country people in particular have responded well, and not only an excellent collection of flowers, but also lall kinds of produce, from honey, "Queen Mary" grapes, and "King Albert" tomatoes, ; to monster cabbages and marrows, ,will be on view. All the produce is for sale privately during the daytime, and to-night a local auctioneer will conduct, a. sale of the .various, exhibits. The prices are all reasonable, and the show should receive good support, both because of its excellence and the fact that the. proceeds., are to go to the Belgian Fund. .
