MISCELLANEOUS'. Sydney, March 3. The Women's Liberal League has presented five more field kitchens to the expeditionary force. The first cargo of meat for the Imperial authorities is being despatched this month. Thereafter consignments will follow as rapidly as possible. Mr Cann states that the prices at which the meat was secured was below London parity, and lower than the prices in Victoria and Queensland. He did not anticipate any interference or increase in the prices of the local markets. The Melbourne Clothing Company announces the arrival of a shipment ex Ruahine of women's and children's shilling stockings, 72in. unbleached sheeting Is yard, and largo white ami colored towels Is each. These goods have lately been in rather short supply, so regular customers are advised 0 buy freely in view of another likely shortage. s
