NEWMARKET YEARLING SALES. United Press Association. (Received 10 a.m.). , Sydney, March 2. At the Newmarket thoroughbred yearling sales there was spirited competition and good prices were realised for ninety-six lots, totalling 20,950 guineas. A Comedy Kiug-Parisienne colt brought lOOOgns; Wallace-Toraya colt, 1050; Welkin-Wilga filly, 1125. Other sales of Mr Sol Green’s Comedy King lots realised 600, 500, 540, 726, 830 and 650gns respectively.
