THE DUAL MONARCHY.
GRIM TRAVESTY IN HISTORY.
OPPORTUNITY OF THE MAGYARS
Times and Sydney Sun Service. (Received 8 a.m.) London, February 27. “Neutral Observer” writes: The contrast between Vienna and Budapesth is impressive. If Vienna is apathetic and unconcerned, Budapesth is alive with activity. The war is po/pular, and everyone is eager to impress visitors that this is their war, and that they began the conflict. In fact, that it will become the greatest war the world has ever known and will fill •every Magyar’s heart with a pride which is proving one of the strong (.dements in the whole Hapsburg realm. That .be assassination of the Archduke gave die Magyars the opportunity they had long waited for, is one of the grimmest traversties in history, because the greatest relief was felt in Bndapesth at the removal of the Archduke, who was the one obstacle in the way )f Magyar domination in the Dual Monarchy.
