LOYAL CHIEF IN TOCOLAND.
Times and Sydney Sun Service, (Received 8 a.m.) London, February 25
The Press Bureau reports that dur ing the recent operations in Togoiand the Chief of the Awunas offered to concentrate his lighting men, and attack the German capital, though the suggestion could not be accepted. He supplied spies and carriers as a railway guard, and his services were recognised with a gift, and he was decorated with a sword.
BOTHA REVIEWS HIS TROOPS.
Capetown, February 27
Premier Botha, when reviewing the troops at Luderitz, deplored that the rebellion necessitated delay in the advance, but said that he hoped they would soon be reinforced and press forward.
