AMUSEMENTS.

“HUMPTY DUMPTY” PANTOMIME TO-NIGHT. Messrs George Stephenson and Alf. Linley are once nice paying a visit with an entirely new pantomime company, opening at the Town Hall tonight, for positively one performance only. They intend this time to eclipse all their previous efforts, no expense having been spared to make the produc_ tion a memorable one. A pantomime to be successful must be made up of much that is novel, bright and tuneful music, songs that appeal and linger in the memory, comedians who can amuse without being vulgar, marches and ballet girls and gorgeous dances for the ensembles, scenery that will please the eye, arid speciality artists who will amaze in wonderful and dexterous exhibitions. All this is promised in the production of “Humpty Dumpty.” The cast of characters includes Air Con Moreni (who plays the Dame), being specially imported from the principal English theatres. Mag■rficont scenery from the Harry Whaite '.Audio, and entirely new wardrobe and effects will be shown.

H.M. THEATRE. “War’s Heart Blood” is the big feature play for this evening. It is a unique Russian story filmed by a Russian Co. in three parts, and presents some remarkable battle scenes. The Gaumont War Graphic shows all war events. “The Awakening of Barbara Dare” is a Vitagraph story of broken hearts and lives. Something new is presented in “Life Beneath the Sea” (submarine study). Other pictures are “Bird Life in Spring Time,” “Bill Squares it with the Boss” (comic). “While Aunties Bounced” (comic). This Theatre now screens pictures every evening.
