The bombardment of the Dardanelles was resumed on Thursday morning. All the forts at the entrance were reduced. Operations continue.

HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.

The Higli Commissioner .reports from Loudon under date London, February 2b (5.35 a.m.): — The Admiralty states that the weather having moderated, the bombardment of the outer forts of the Dardanelles was renewed at 8 o’clock on Thursday morning. After a period of long-range fire, a squadron of battleships attacked at close range. All the forts at the entrance to the Straits were successfully reduced. Operations are being continued. TURKS DEFEATED WITH GREAT LOSS. Petpograd, February 26. Official: The Turks were defeated with great loss when attempting to take the heights on the left hank of the the Itzhralson, in the Caucasus.
