AMUSEMENTS.

"HUMPTY DUMPTY."

I Pleasurably anticipated by young and old, the St*>phenson-Linley pantomime extravagance, "Humpty Dunipjty," is to be presented at the Town Hall next Saturday for positively one night only. The company consists of 65 people, and come well accredited from Australia. The principal huinor'ist is Sir Con Meroni, and he will be associated with Mr Ernie Lashbrook, 'both of whom are said to be excellent pantomimists, stud are exceptionally 'clever eccentric dancers. The 'otltw principals will be Charles [Howard (King Dazzlura), Miss Olive Robinson (Jack Buttercup), Miss MoJli'ry King (Lolita), Miss Ida Ingersole (Humpty Dumpty), Miss Stella Cazalla (Hassarac), Miss Bear Smaille (Conrad), Miss Alice Whittle (Hadji), Miss Bertha Ashman (Saji). The dressing, scenery, ballets, marches and effects will be on an elaborate scale. The specialities are in the able hands of the three Rubes and Leiuion Hyman and Lennon. The March of the Allies is a special feature of the pantomime. The box' plan is now open at Grubb's Music Warehouse.

H.M. THEATRE.

To-night the star feature is the Edison Company's drama, "The Shattered Tree." The latest "Bathe War Gazette" shows many war scones from England, France, Belgium and Russia. A very humorous comedy subject 18 Keystone's big extravaganza, "The Sky Pirate." "The City of Benares" sliows interesting scenes in and around this renowned Indian city. "The Man With the Glove" is a mysterious picture drama with a novel plot. Other pictures are "Pickles, Art and Sauerkraut," and "Incandescent Mantles." To-morrow night "Antwerp Under Shot and Shell" will be shown with the above programme.
