THE KAHU FATALITY. Feb Press Association. Wellintgon, February 2-1. The adjourned inquest on the deaths of Frank Leers, Donald Mathieson.. ftnd Patrick O'Brien, three men from the steamer Kahu, drowned on November 28 as the result of the upsetting of a launch in the surf at Te Awaite, concluded to-day. A verdict of accidentally drowned was returned. The Coroner • added that he was satisfied that the launch was in perfect working order, and that the , accident was not due to any negligence whatever.
