TURKISH MASSACRE OF ARMENIANS. [United Press Association.] Petrograd, February 23. During the occupation of Ardannch the Turks dragged through the streets 150 Armenians and cut-their throats. Old Turkish residents were killed m cold blood. Fifty Armenians were stripped and compelled to leap into an abyss at Devil’s Gap, until one carried a Turk with him. Then the remainder were shot. Two hundred and fifty were massacred at Tamvot, and women carried into captivity.
RUSSIAN FORCES AT ODESSA. Copenhagen, February 23. German advices from Sofia state that the Russians are concentrating large forces at Odessa, with the object of shipping them to Midia, and then to attack Constantinople.
TURKS THROWN BACK BY THE RUSSIANS.
(Received 8.45 a.m.) Petrograd, February 23, A communique states: The Turks vere thrown back across the Itchkhalsu river. Transchonote was ignited, 20 civilians being killed.
