There was the. keenest competition and best prices were obtained for all good classes of wool. Greasy crossbred made lMd, tl?e season's record.

Last Saturday we have to report a very successful sale, our rooms being crowded. \%Q quote as. follows: Poultry: Hens 9d to Is lOd, cockerels Gd to Is 3d, roosters Is to 2s, ducks Is 6d to Is 9d, cauliflower (per dozen) 2s to 2s 6d, potatoes (Is to 5s (according to size of bag), peas 9d to Is per peck, apples 2s to 6s, peaches 2s Gdto 4s, plums Is 6d to 3s 6d, pears 2s 6d to 4s, tomatoes 2s to 5s (all according to quality,and size of case).
