SWIMMING.
The third race of the Masters Cup was swum at the School Baths yesterday. The distance w-as 150 yards, and the result was as f6l lows :—R. Foden (2secs) 1, N. Kivell (18secs) 2, W. Kivell (13secs) 3. F. Oxley, B. Kivell and D. Thurston also started. The points now' stand as follows: C. Kivell (absent from yesterday’s race) 5 points, N. Kivell, W. Kivell and R. Foden 4 points eachj and D. Thurston 1 point.
The following are the handicaps for the open events to be competed for at the Belgian Relief Fund Swimming Carnival to be held to-morrow evening;—
50 Yards.—Claringbold scr., Mahoney 3secs, Foden 5, McNiven 5, Curtis 6, McEwen 7, Masters 7, Clout 7, B. V. Kiveli 8, Henry 8, K; Kivell 8, C.
