Senator Pearce (Minister of Defence) stated that in view of the fact that the Defence Department was spending 11,000,000 sterling before the end of they were appointing a business man to act as financial and commercial adviser. The Department has decided to proceed with the build, ing of military aeroplanes. Mr Mason announces that women who had lost their Australian citizenship by marrying Germans, may be naturalised. even if their husbands >-e.
