THE ATTACK AT WALFISCH BAY.
United Press Association. (Received 8.-30 a.m.) London, February 15. With reference to the German statement that the British bombarded the
undefended town of Swakopmund, the Commander at Simonstown states that on thed ate in question a German force from Swakopmund raided the British settlement at Walfisch Bay, employing dynamite in the attack. A British auxiliary cruiser proceeded to Swakopmund and fired some shells, which destroyed the outer crane on the pier. I DE WET ON HIS TRIAL.
