ROUGH PASSAGE FROM SYDNEY TO AUCKLAND. Per Press Association. Auckland, February 16. After steaming through a heavy southerly storm ini the Tasman bea for two and a-half days, the HudartPar'ker steamer Iliverina, reached Auckland harbour from Sydney at seven o’clock this morning, over a day late. Passengers spoke of the voyage as one of ■ the worst they had experienced. Captain T. Eassou said lie had never experienced such a terrific storm on the Sydney-Auckland route. A first saloon passenger walking on the promenade deck during the !?torin slipped and was thrown against tlie rails, spraining his ankle and receiving slight injuries to his head.
