THE IMPORTANCE OF WARSAW TO THE GERMANS.
Times and Sydney Sun Service. (Received 8.0 a.m.) London, February 15. Amsterdam reports . that the Kaiser is anxious that Warsaw be taken before the next meeting of the Reichstag, so that he may induce • the House to vote a new loan unopposed.
COUNT BERNHARDT’S ACCIDENT
(Received 8.50 a.m.) Paris, February 15
Count Bernhardt has undergone a serious operation for an injury to his knee, which he received while acting. It is reported that the leg was amputated.
