MORE MILLIONS FOR MILITARY. SEIZURE OF CEREALS FOR AUSTRIA. Times and Sydney Sun Service. (Received 8 a.m.) , London, February 15. Italy lias hypothecated a further sum of £6,800,000 for extra military expenditure in consequence of international events.

Consignments of rice and other cereals destined for Austria that were hidden on the railways have been seized by the Italian Customs. The quantity of prohibited exports which have been stopped is so great that many hotels and houses have been converted into storages.

REBEL FIGHTING IN TRIPOLI.

Times and Sydney Sun Service London, February 15

It is officially announced from Rome that a thousand rebels in Tripoli attacked three hundred Italians guarding camels at Bonjem. The Italians were reinforced, and the rebels were repulsed after violent fighting. The activity of the rebels is due to a Djad proclamation. It is suspected that Germans are commanding the rebels, who are amply supplied with arms, ammunition, and provisions.
