TARANAKI SHOW.
Exhibitors are reminded that entries for Taranaki’s Metropolitan fixture close to-day (Saturday), l3th inst. Very large fields are expected in the competition classes, and entries for this section have already been received from all parts of the North Island, including a number from Hastings. Great interest is being taken in the dog section. The new classes introduced for semi-officially tested cows should be an excellent move on the part of the Society, as it will'give the public an opportunity of seeing at the Show all the bestproducers. The following are the conditions for this class:—Entries for this class close on Tuesday, 16th February, viz., for cows ol any ago that have secured a semi-official .certificate. To be judged on the Jersey standard. Age of animal and date of last calving to ho taken into consideration by the judge.
