WEDDING BELLS.

A quiet wedding was celebrated on Thursday at the residence of Mr C. Goodwin, Salisbury Road, Alidliirst, when Air Charles Alackinnon, late of Scotland, and youngest sou of Air John Alackinnon, was united to Aliss Ethel Jane, second daughter of Air ami Airs Charles Goodwin. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a dress of white embroidered muslin with the

orthodox veil and orange blossoms. She carried a beautiful shower boquet of asparagus and maidenhair fern, white sweet peas, and roses, the production of Aliss E. Plews. She was accompanied by two bridesmaids, Aliss O. M. Goodwin, sister of the bride, who was dressed in pale blue crepe de chine, and Aliss Rirkly, who wore a dainty dress of cream radianta. Both carried pretty shower boquets. Aliss Dolly Goodwin acted as flower

girl. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr C. W. Goodwin, and those of groomsman by Mr \\ ■ K. Goodwin. The Rev. A. 0. Harris officiated at t!ie ceremony, where the usual treats and responses were made in happy fashion. It is expected that Mr and Mrs Mackiunon will reside in Midhirst.
