NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIPS Xapier, February 13. CJose upon 100 swimmers from the principal centres of tire Dominion have arrived for the purpose of competing in the New Zealand championships commencing this afternoon. The. meeting will be continued on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The visitors were accorded a civic reception. The weather is warm, and prospects are favorable. In the absence of M. F. Champion, this year’s competitions gives a chance for younger svffinaers to obtain championship honors.
