TARANAKI SHOW.
The time for closing entries tor the big autumn fixture is now drawing near and consequently a large number are.being received each day. There is every indication that this years' entries will far surpass those of previous shows and the Committee is at its wits end to provide the ,■ necessary accommodation.
Several alterations have been made to the schedule, which it will be well for exhibitors to note.
For tlie championships it has been decided to allow all animals two .years or over to compete, and in the draught horse section, classes have been added for mares over four years and geldings over four years.
The schedule is now considered the most complete ever issued by the Society, and should meet with the approval of all.
Exhibitors aro reminded that entries for all classes closo on Saturday next, 13th inst. » •
