Five hundred political delegates, including parliamentarians, headed an imposing procession to Padua in fav[our of Italy assisting the Allies in 'the war. The Republican group carIried revolutionary measures if the Government failed to join in the war. It is reported from Libya that the withdrawal of troops from the interior encouraged the disloyal element to flame into rebellion, and that the rebels are marching on Tripoli. The fate of several members of the Expeditionary force recently sent to the interior is unknown.
