SECOND DAY'S RUNNING.
The meeting concluded yesterday in splendid weather and with an even' larger attendance than on Wednesday. Everything passed off successfully, and there were no serious mishaps. The totalisator investments for the day amounted to £18,791, as against £16,855 for the corresponding day last year, making a total of £35,211 for the meeting, an increase of £2677 on last year's totals. Urenui Electric Hack Race, of 100 sovs., weight 8.7, five furlongs.—lo E. Aubrey's Bay Prince, 1; 4 T. O'Neill's Arras, 2; 2 J. O'Mara's Rongaro, 3. Also started: 11 Cornice, 8 Crown Head, 1 Tirana, 6 Lad o' Cowrie, 5 Fidessa, 13 Miss Potae, 3 Tiora, 9 Top Twig, 12 Adam, 7 Go On. Won by half a length. In the straight Lad o' Gowrie fell, but McFlyun escaped with a bruising. Time, lmin 33sec.
