LONDON MARKETS. United Press Association. (Received 9.0 a.m.) London, February 10. Tallow.—Eight hundred and sevntysix casks were offered and sold. Mutton.—Fine, 425; medium, 36s (id. Beef.—Fine 10s Gd, medium, 3Gs. NEWTON KING’S REPORT. I had a full yarding of pigs for my Haymarket sale on Saturday last. There was a large attendance, with a - fair enquiry. Prices ruling were easier all round, weaners being dull of sale with a drop of from 3s to 5s per head on larger sorts, three pens failing to reach the vendors’ reserve, and being passed in. J quote: Slips and weaners from Gs to IGs Gd, small stores 19s Gd to £1 5s Gd, medium ditto 01 8s Gd to £1 13s Gd, large ditto £1 15s to £2 ss.

At Newton King’s wool,skin,and hide sale hold yesterday, values showed an all-round advance. Fleece wool sold up to llfd per lb, and good bright lambs to Hid. Sheepskins and hides were also in keen demand at famine prices. Full-wool skins realised up to l()d per lb, hoggets lOd, and lambs skins to 9kt per lb. Cow hides realised up to lljjd and ox to JLjd per lb. Tallow also advanced £2 per ton.

T. LAMASON’S WEEKLY REPORT.

Last Saturday we held our usual weekly sale, when a very good entry of poultry came to hand. I quote as follows: liens Is to Is 9d, roosters Is 6d to 2s, cockerels 9d to Is 3d, docks 2s to 2s 9d, cabbage Is to 2s per doz, cauliflower 2s to 2s 6d, peas Is 3d peck,- rhubard 2d to Id per bundle, apples 2s to 2s 6d half bushel, •Is to 7s 6d bushel, peaches 3s 6d to os, pears 3s Gd to 4s, 6s Od. 7s 6d, plums Is to 2s Gd (llurbank), greengages 3s Gd to 6s Gd, other varieties 2s to Is, nectarines 3s Gd to Gs. All the above are according to grade and size of case.
