JIGGER RUN INTO BY ENGINE.

Per Press 'Association,

Taihape, February 11

This morning a heavy engine on the way from Taihape to Taumarnnui, ran into a jigger on the line a mile from Taihape, and M. S. Thomas, platelayer, was knocked off the jigger and killed as the result of injuries. Deceased was about thirty years of age, ami leaves a widow and a six-months-old baby.
